Migraines for Pain
I was hit hard Friday and Sunday morning. I could actually feel the train begin to derail. I sat up and rubbed some peppermint oil on my head, navel, and nose to minimize damage, but the speed was too great. I didn't go numb in the arms or legs (as I have in the past), but I threw up water and meds. I recovered on the floor and wore a snow hat to cover my eyes (my sensitivity to light was at an all-time high). I actually felt decent Friday evening and Saturday was pretty great (I finally got a copy of Army of Darkness and some music from Pedro the Lion, Futureheads, The Frames, & Menomona for cheap!). By 5:00 a.m. Sunday, I found myself aboard the same train, going the same speed...
Today, I feel tired and a bit foggy. My head doesn't hurt, but it feels full.
I've been listening to Tim Hecker's Ravedeath, 1972. It reminds me of William Basinski's Disintegration Loops II. Not music to save for a poor health day...but certainly the best for recovery.
