Alphabetical Nonsense
Friday was the last day of school for the children. I have a couple more days left, but in my mind Summer has begun.
The weather has slightly shifted and my pale complexion has been victim to increased sun activity.
I've yet to make my 'Summer To Do List', however, I plan to listen to all the songs on my iPod in alphabetical order.
I shot my first bullets on Friday and killed a clay pigeon and water bottle. I believe I was using a 1911 (45) and AR 50. I was very apprehensive, but trusted McNitt and the location. From this day on I will have a hard time watching 'shoot 'em movies. Except The French Connection.
Soren's been eating more solid food. Last night, we did pears and rice. Many people say you gotta do all veggies first. I say bull shit. Kids will typically eat what you eat. I know too many families (mostly dads) who are opposed to broccoli, spinach, onions, avocado, and other nutrient dense foods. No surprise their kids won't touch the stuff. On the flip side, B and I know families that eat kale chips for snacks and are fluent in veggies and seasonal fruits. Their offspring tend to be quite healthy.
Brew Nite was a bust in terms of visitors, but McNitt always has good stories and events to share. The beer was good too.
Music I am appreciating: anything David Eugene Edwards touches, David Thomas Broughton, Jack Rose, King Khan & BBQ Show, Tennis, King Louie & The Loose Diamonds, and Keith Fullerton Whitman.
