Mostly Complaining
The past week has been a bummer. I started coming down with a sore throat last Friday evening. I was feverish on Christmas and had a horrible headache on Monday. Last night, I had several coughing fits. I actually can't remember stopping, yet somehow I slept most of the night.
My biggest irritation with all this is: it should and could have been avoided. My family and another family got beat up and rundown by this heavy cold attack because of a mother's choice to do what she wanted, regardless of her daughter being visibly ill. Had she stayed home with her daughter and not been selfish, my Christmas Break would have been brilliant.

The weather has also been a drag. Valley-like rain has moved in and stayed longer than normal.

I have a new student starting next Tuesday. I'm not too concerned, but new students are usually a bunch of extra work. Apparently the family is just testing the school out. But if they choose not to stay, what does that say about me? Honestly, I should just step aside...do what I do well, and let the Lord run this. Or I could very well ruin it.
